The Jamaican Chapter of Amnesty International invites you
to attend a public meeting concerning
the protection of human rights and the death penalty


DATE: Tuesday, April 23 TIME: 6:00 pm

VENUE: Stephanie Hall, (Holy Childhood High School compound) 9 Skibo Avenue, near Half Way Tree, Kingston 10.

Speakers at the meeting will include:

* Sister Helen Prejean - well-known human rights defender and author of the book "Dead Man Walking"

* Delbert Tibbs, former death row inmate, who was exonerated

* Pat Clark, a leading member of US group Murder Victims' Families for Reconciliation

Come and participate in the discussions, as together we try to find solutions & make proposals to the problems that face us as an independent democratic country!
