Jamaicans For Justice presented
“Pattern of Impunity – A Report On Jamaica’s Investigation and Prosecution of Deaths At The Hands of Agents Of The State”,
at the Inter-American Human Rights Commission (IAHRC), Washington, USA, on October 27, 2004. At the presentation were members of the Commission, Mr. Freddy Gutierrez, Mr. C.K. Roberts, Commissioner from Antigua, Mr. Brian Tittemore, Legal Officer for the Commission, Dr. Carolyn Gomes, Executive Director, Jamaicans For Justice, Miss Tasha Rodney, Legal Officer, Jamaicans For Justice, Jamaican Ambassador to Washington, His Excellency Shirley and Ms. Delrose Montague representing the Jamaican Government. Jamaicans For Justice held a Press Conference on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at the Stella Maris Church on Kingston, Jamaica, to acquaint members of the Media and the public on the contents of the Report. The Report generated much discussion both in the electronic and print media.
